Vincenzo Schiavo

Vincenzo Schiavo is the national vice president of Confesercenti, an association representing businesses in commerce, with a focus on the southern regions of Italy. At the age of 53, he has been recognized for his efforts to foster bilateral relations between Italy and Russia, receiving the Order of Friendship medal from Russian Ambassador Alexey Paramonov in Rome. Schiavo is the first Campanian to receive this honor, reflecting his commitment to supporting economic cooperation despite the complexities of current geopolitical tensions. He has worked closely with over 750 Italian businesses engaged with Russian markets and has held the honorary consul position in Campania for a decade, actively promoting the interests of local enterprises in Russia.
