With over two decades of experience in international relations, democratic governance, and European Union expansion, he has played a crucial role in strengthening Moldova's diplomatic ties. Prior to his ambassadorship, Ursu held significant positions, including Director of the Europe Department at the Open Society Foundation in London and senior political analyst at the Open Society European Policy Institute in Brussels.
