Vivian Palomequi

Vivian Palomequi is a prominent leader of a peasant farmers' union in Bolivia, known for her activism in defense of Indigenous land rights and environmental protection. Recently, she gained attention for leading a month-long march of over 560 miles to the capital, La Paz, to protest against a law perceived as threatening to accelerate deforestation and land privatization in the Bolivian Amazon.
