Wilson Velásquez
Wilson Velásquez is a Honduran migrant who was detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) while attending a religious service at a church near Atlanta. He had previously traveled to the United States with his wife and three children in 2022, seeking asylum upon crossing the border. Despite complying with required checks and having a scheduled court date for his asylum case, he was arrested by ICE agents who claimed they were searching for individuals with GPS tracking devices.
