Yan Petrovsky, also known by his alias Slavyan, is a Russian national born in 1987 in St. Petersburg. He became involved in neo-Nazi activities and was a member of the militant group 'Rusich,' which participated in the conflict in Eastern Ukraine. Petrovsky was recently sentenced to life imprisonment in Finland for his role in war crimes committed during the 2014-2015 conflict in Donetsk and Luhansk.
