Yasmen Almashan

Yasmen Almashan is a Syrian activist and founder of the Caesar Families Association, an organization that supports families searching for their missing loved ones in Syria. After recognizing her deceased brother in a photograph from a human rights documentation project, she committed herself to raising awareness about the plight of victims of state violence and advocating for truth and justice for those affected by the Syrian civil war. Almashan emphasizes the need to confront the past to build a peaceful future for Syria.
