Ye Aung Thu

Ye Aung Thu is a seasoned photographer from Myanmar who has documented the country's tumultuous history, including the military coup of 1988 that he experienced as a child. Since the resurgence of conflict in 2021, he has traveled across Myanmar to capture the struggles of guerrilla groups fighting against military rule, using his lens to tell the stories of those caught in the ongoing turmoil.
