Yeh Chun-hsien is a prominent researcher at Academia Sinica and former president of the Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research. He is known for his extensive policy experience, particularly in crafting and evaluating government relief measures during the COVID-19 pandemic. Yeh is set to lead the National Development Council (NDC) following the resignation of Liu Chin-ching due to health issues.
