Yehoshua Cohen

Yehoshua Cohen was a member of the Lehi militia, known for his involvement in the assassination of Count Folke Bernadotte in 1948. Following the assassination, he was recognized for his actions and eventually became a personal bodyguard to Israel's first Prime Minister, David Ben-Gurion. Cohen's life reflects the intertwining of military action and political service in the early years of the Israeli state.
