Yi Seong-gye

Yi Seong-gye, also known as King Taejo, was the founder of the Joseon Dynasty in Korea, which ruled from 1392 to 1910. He is noted for his military prowess and significant reforms that laid the groundwork for a more centralized state, including the establishment of Confucianism as the state ideology.
