Yo Takaba

Yo Takaba is the Deputy Representative of the Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association, where he plays a pivotal role in fostering relations between Japan and Taiwan. He was recently in the news for advocating the establishment of polling stations in Taiwan, enabling Japanese nationals living there to vote in person for the first time in Japan’s House of Councilors election, thereby enhancing democratic participation for overseas voters.
