Zeytin

Zeytin is a young gorilla who was rescued at Istanbul Airport while being smuggled from Nigeria to Thailand. Currently residing in a zoo in Polenezköy, Zeytin is undergoing rehabilitation and care, as efforts are being made to return her to her native country. Turkish authorities are ensuring that Zeytin will not be subjected to illegal trade again upon her return, which is planned for late September after all bureaucratic processes are completed.
