Zhang Haidi

Zhang Haidi is a prominent Chinese advocate for the rights of disabled individuals and a former chairperson of the China Disabled Persons' Federation. She gained international recognition for her role in the 1995 Beijing World Conference on Women, where she represented the Chinese government. Over the years, Zhang has worked tirelessly to promote the inclusion and empowerment of women with disabilities, emphasizing the importance of gender equality and social justice. Her contributions were highlighted during the recent Global Women's Summit in Beijing, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the original 1995 conference.
