Zhang Manzhou is the chief engineer at Aipuqiang Particle Equipment Co., Ltd., located in Shanghai. He has played a pivotal role in developing China's first domestic proton therapy system, which is recognized as one of the largest medical devices in the world. The project team, under his leadership, has achieved significant technological advancements and holds 62 patents, with plans to fully domesticate the second proton therapy system.
