Zhao Tongyang is a Chinese entrepreneur and co-founder of EngineAI, a robotics startup established in 2023 that specializes in humanoid robots. Prior to EngineAI, he founded another robotics company called Dogotix, which was acquired by the electric vehicle manufacturer Xpeng in 2020. After leading the robotics division at Xpeng, Zhao ventured to create EngineAI, which has garnered attention for its innovations in robotic mobility and balance.
