Ziggy
Ziggy was a dedicated broadcast engineering officer who worked primarily at the ABC's Elsternwick studios. Despite being aware of the presence of asbestos in the building, he was unaware of its dangers until much later in his career. After suffering from shoulder pain and shortness of breath, he was diagnosed with an asbestos-related disease in early 2023 and passed away a year later, leaving behind a legacy of fond memories and a desire for better health screenings for employees.
