Aaron Babbitt is the husband of Ashli Babbitt, a former Air Force veteran who was shot and killed during the Capitol Riot on January 6, 2021. Following her death, he filed a $30 million lawsuit against the government, which has now resulted in a settlement agreement of nearly $5 million for his family.
