Abdülhamid II

Abdülhamid II was the 34th Sultan of the Ottoman Empire, reigning from 1876 to 1909. Known for his autocratic rule, he attempted to centralize power and enforce Islamic unity among the diverse ethnic groups of the empire. His reign saw significant political turmoil, ultimately leading to his deposition by the Young Turks, who sought modernization and reform.
