
Ajmal Amir Kasab
Ajmal Amir Kasab was a Pakistani terrorist who was a member of the militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba and participated in the 2008 Mumbai attacks, which resulted in the deaths of 166 people. Captured alive during the attacks, he was tried and convicted in India, becoming a symbol of the country's struggle against terrorism. His trial drew significant media attention and highlighted issues of security and justice in India. Kasab was ultimately sentenced to death and was executed in November 2012.
