Aldo Salazar Bahena

Aldo Salazar Bahena is a convicted gang member known for his involvement in the 2005 murder of Fernando Diaz Jr. After spending approximately 20 years in prison, he was released from Stateville Correctional Center near Joliet, Illinois, despite a federal detainer request from ICE, which cited Illinois sanctuary policies. Salazar Bahena was ultimately arrested by ICE following his release, as he had lost his legal permanent resident status due to his conviction.
