Aleksei Leonov

Aleksei Leonov was a Soviet cosmonaut and the first human to conduct a spacewalk in 1965. His historic 12-minute extravehicular activity marked a significant milestone in space exploration. Leonov later participated in the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project, symbolizing the cooperation between the United States and the Soviet Union during the Cold War.
