Lon Nol

Lon Nol was a Cambodian general and politician who led a coup d'état in 1970, overthrowing Prince Norodom Sihanouk and establishing a republican government. His leadership during the Cambodian Civil War faced significant challenges, including the rise of the Khmer Rouge, and ultimately led to his downfall as Cambodia fell into turmoil.
