Alessandro I

Alessandro I was the Emperor of Russia from 1801 to 1825, known for his complex role during the Napoleonic Wars. Initially an ally of Napoleon, he later became one of his most formidable opponents, leading Russia to victory in the disastrous 1812 campaign against France. His reign saw significant reforms and the emergence of Russia as a major European power, but he also struggled with internal unrest and the challenges of modernization.
