Alessio Mamo

Alessio Mamo is an Italian photographer and photojournalist known for his impactful work documenting humanitarian crises and environmental issues. Since 2008, he has traveled extensively to cover social, political, and economic challenges, with a focus on the effects of war on both people and nature. Mamo has been particularly active in Ukraine, where he captures the devastating consequences of the ongoing conflict, highlighting the destruction of landscapes and ecosystems alongside human suffering. His work has earned him recognition, including two World Press Photo awards.
