Somar Kreker

Somar Kreker is a Syrian refugee who, after fleeing his war-torn home country, undertook a perilous journey across multiple countries in 2015 to reunite with his younger sisters, Salsabil and Lubna. His determination and resilience led him from Syria to Germany, where he has since built a new life and works as a project manager in the food industry. Somar's story reflects the challenges faced by many migrants during the European migration crisis and the transformation of refugee policies over the past decade.
