Alexander Turchinov

Alexander Turchinov is a Ukrainian politician and former acting President of Ukraine who served as the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada (Ukraine's parliament) during the 2014 crisis that led to the ousting of Viktor Yanukovych. Following Yanukovych's departure, Turchinov took on the role of acting president until the election of Petro Poroshenko. Known for his strong stance against Russian aggression, Turchinov has played a significant role in Ukraine's political landscape, particularly during the early stages of the conflict with Russia.
