Ali Ghulamali

Ali Ghulamali is an Afghan kitchen porter at Kai restaurant in Galway, having fled Afghanistan due to the threat posed by the Taliban to his work with displaced children. After a perilous journey through various countries, he arrived in Ireland seeking safety and security. Ghulamali actively advocates for his wife’s reunification, highlighting the challenges faced by women in Afghanistan under current restrictions, while also expressing gratitude for the opportunities provided to him in Ireland.
