Antoine Pellion

Antoine Pellion is a prominent French civil servant who served as the Secretary General of the General Secretariat for Ecological Planning (SGPE), an institution created to address ecological issues under the authority of the Prime Minister. His recent announcement to leave this position, due to the diminishing influence of the SGPE, has raised concerns about the future of France's environmental policies. Pellion, who previously worked as an advisor at the Elysée and Matignon, is transitioning to a role as Deputy Director General at Idex, a company focused on energy transition for local communities and businesses. He also founded the ecological planning association in March 2024, aiming to promote sustainable proposals outside of governmental structures.
