Barbara Hannigan
Barbara Hannigan is a Canadian soprano and conductor, renowned for her expertise in modern classical music. She has collaborated with prestigious orchestras such as the Berlin Philharmonic and the London Symphony Orchestra. Since 2019, she has served as the principal guest conductor of the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, and she will take on the role of chief conductor and artistic leader of the Iceland Symphony Orchestra in the upcoming year. Her debut album as both a singer and conductor, 'Crazy Girl Crazy,' received a Grammy Award for Best Vocal Album, highlighting her significant contributions to contemporary music.
