Champa Devi, 30, is a resilient woman from a mining community in India who recently graduated from Barefoot College with skills in solar engineering. Despite her struggles with illiteracy and the burden of her husband's illness due to silicosis, she has successfully installed solar panels in her village to help improve living conditions, although financial instability continues to loom over her family.
