Charles Babbage

Charles Babbage was an English mathematician, philosopher, inventor, and mechanical engineer, who is best known for conceptualizing the first automatic mechanical computer, known as the Analytical Engine. Often referred to as the 'father of the computer,' Babbage's work laid the foundation for modern computing and his innovative ideas in the 19th century anticipated many aspects of today's technology.
