Constantine Tischendorf

Constantine Tischendorf was a 19th-century scholar known for his work on biblical manuscripts. He is believed to have taken a page from the Archimedes palimpsest during his travels in the Middle East, which later contributed to the fragmented history of Archimedes’ lost works.
