Johan Ludvig Heiberg

Johan Ludvig Heiberg was a Danish scholar and a prominent expert in Greek culture. In 1906, he rediscovered a crucial manuscript of Archimedes in a library in Constantinople, which contained lost mathematical ideas. Heiberg's work in photographing and studying the manuscript helped revive interest in Archimedes' contributions to mathematics.
