Dasia Black-Gutman
Dasia Black-Gutman is a Holocaust survivor who was born in Galicia, Poland, in 1938. At the tender age of three, she witnessed the horrors of Nazi persecution as her family was forced to flee their home. After being separated from her parents, who were eventually murdered, Dasia's childhood was marked by fear and survival in the forests of Poland. She later moved to Australia, where she now lives in Sydney. At 87, she continues to share her poignant memories of both the trauma and the resilience of the human spirit during one of history's darkest chapters.
