David Eduardo León Romero

David Eduardo León Romero is a Mexican consultant and political advisor who was implicated in a scandal involving the delivery of cash to Pío López Obrador, the brother of former President Andrés Manuel López Obrador. The videos that emerged in 2020 showed León providing money that was allegedly intended to support Morena's operations in Chiapas for the 2018 elections. His involvement in this case led to a lengthy investigation by the INE, which ultimately found no conclusive evidence of illegal financing.
