Dean Cox
Dean Cox is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played as a ruckman for the West Coast Eagles in the AFL. He is best known for his significant contributions to the Eagles, including being a key player in their 2006 premiership victory. After retiring from playing, Cox transitioned into coaching and has served as an assistant coach at the Sydney Swans for several years. In late 2023, he was appointed head coach of the Swans, taking over from John Longmire. Cox aims to revitalize the team following a disappointing season and is known for his emphasis on player development and team cohesion.
