Denzil Kobbekaduwa

Lieutenant General Denzil Kobbekaduwa was a prominent and respected figure in the Sri Lankan Army, known for his leadership during key military operations against the LTTE. He played a crucial role in the final stages of the conflict in Sri Lanka, leading operations to liberate the northern regions from Tamil Tiger control. Tragically, he lost his life in 1992 due to a landmine explosion while on a reconnaissance mission, leaving behind a legacy of valor and dedication.
