Vijaya Wimalaratne

Brigadier Vijaya Wimalaratne was a distinguished officer in the Sri Lankan Army who served alongside Lieutenant General Denzil Kobbekaduwa. He was involved in significant military operations during the Sri Lankan Civil War and was known for his strategic insights and camaraderie with fellow soldiers. He also lost his life in the same tragic incident that claimed the life of Kobbekaduwa.
