Ding Xueliang

Ding Xueliang is a prominent scholar of Chinese politics based in Hong Kong, known for his critical analysis of the Cultural Revolution, which he experienced firsthand as a young Red Guard. Born in 1953 to a family of farmers, he initially embraced Mao Zedong's revolutionary ideals, actively participating in the upheaval.
