Dmytro Koval

Dmytro Koval is a prominent Ukrainian legal scholar and war crimes investigator, serving as the co-executive director of Truth Hounds, an organization dedicated to documenting human rights violations in Ukraine and the surrounding regions since 2014. With a background in law and academia as a professor at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, Koval has extensively researched the war crimes committed during Russia's invasion of Ukraine. He recently visited Bogotá, where he engaged with Colombian officials and civil society on issues of accountability and justice in conflict, sharing insights on the operations of the Russian war machine and the impact of the war on both Ukrainian and Colombian civilians.
