Donatella Dini

Donatella Dini is known as the wife of Lamberto Dini, the former Italian Prime Minister and prominent political figure. She has been described as an icon of the late 20th century and was an influential presence in the Italian-Costa Rican community, serving as the president of the Italian-Costa Rican Chamber of Commerce. Their love story began in the 1980s, marked by long-distance phone calls where Lamberto serenaded her with songs by Ornella Vanoni. Donatella's keen interest in agriculture was highlighted during a memorable encounter with Fidel Castro, where he jokingly proposed that she become Cuba's Minister of Agriculture.
