Dragica Pravica, born in 1919 in the village of Bijelač, became a prominent figure in the Yugoslav partisan movement during World War II. As an advocate for women's rights and equality, she played a crucial role in both the fight against fascism and the struggle for women's emancipation. Dragica and her brother were executed by Chetniks in 1942, and she was posthumously honored as a national hero in 1945 for her contributions to the resistance.
