Jela Andrijašević

Jela Andrijašević was born in 1912 in Nikšić and became a legendary figure during World War II for her strong character and dedication to the partisan cause. She tragically lost her life on the day of Nikšić's liberation, September 18, 1944, just before she could witness the freedom she fought for. Her legacy lives on in the streets named after her, commemorating her contributions to the resistance.
