Edappadi K Palaniswami, commonly known as EPS, is an Indian politician and a prominent leader of the AIADMK party in Tamil Nadu. He served as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu from February 2017 to May 2021. A staunch supporter of the late J Jayalalithaa, EPS has been instrumental in various party strategies and governance policies. Recently, he made headlines by firmly ruling out the reinduction of ousted leaders O Panneerselvam and TTV Dhinakaran, asserting the party's commitment to ideological purity ahead of the upcoming 2026 assembly elections.
