Ernst-Volker Staub
Ernst-Volker Staub, 70, is a former member of the Red Army Faction (RAF), a leftist militant group in Germany that was active during the 1970s and 1980s. He has gained attention recently as he is one of the alleged accomplices of Daniela Klette, who is facing trial for attempted murder and other serious crimes related to a series of armed robberies. Staub and another accomplice, Burkhard Garweg, are currently at large, having been implicated in a criminal spree that involved multiple heists targeting cash transporters and supermarkets across several German states between 1999 and 2016, during which they are said to have stolen over 2.7 million euros.
