
Ethel Rosenberg
Ethel Rosenberg was an American woman who, along with her husband Julius, was accused of espionage and convicted of passing nuclear secrets to the Soviet Union during the Cold War. Ethel's role in the case remains a subject of debate, but she was executed in 1953, making her one of the first women in the United States to be executed for a crime other than murder.
