Evjatar David is an Israeli citizen who was taken hostage by Hamas on October 7, 2023, during a large-scale attack in southern Israel. He was attending the Nova music festival with his friend Gal Gilboa-Dalal when the militant group abducted him, along with 43 other festival attendees. David, who has recently turned 24 while in captivity, has been depicted in a recent video released by Hamas, showing signs of malnutrition and weakness, raising concerns about his well-being and the conditions faced by hostages in Gaza.
