
François Englert
François Englert is a Belgian theoretical physicist who made significant contributions to the understanding of the Higgs boson and the mechanism that gives mass to elementary particles. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2013 alongside Peter Higgs for their theoretical work that laid the foundation for much of modern particle physics.
