Gbenga Ogunjimi
Gbenga Ogunjimi is the Executive Director of the Nigerian Center, an organization dedicated to supporting U.S. immigrants facing legal challenges. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Ogunjimi's journey to the United States began through a fellowship program facilitated by the U.S. State Department. He recognized the need for community support structures for immigrants, similar to those established by other ethnic groups, and founded the Nigerian Center in 2022. The center focuses on providing free legal aid, financial inclusion, and cultural education to both Nigerian and non-Nigerian immigrants, striving to address the systemic challenges they face, particularly in immigration processes.
