George Bezdjian

George Bezdjian is a Lebanese father who tragically lost his daughter, Jessica, in the catastrophic Beirut port explosion on August 4, 2020. A nurse at St. Georges Hospital, Jessica was one of the four medical staff members killed when the blast struck the facility. George has been vocal in his grief and calls for justice, honoring his daughter's memory and seeking accountability for the tragedy that claimed 218 lives and devastated large parts of Beirut.
